This site has been published to provide information and technical help to users of Visking partially permeable membranes.
Visking membranes are cellulose based tubes and sheets which have a selective porosity and are therefore widely used where osmosis and filtration are employed. The membranes are easy to use and offer a cost effective separation tool.
The information contained in this site is aimed at users and potential users so that they can determine with more accuracy which membranes will suit their purposes and how to prepare them prior to use.
