The Mediclip is a single size plastic clip designed to meet the general needs of tubing users and is ideal for most situations where membranes up to 40mm flat width are being used (to Size 7).

The simple packaging means that high quality can be supplied at an inexpensive price.

Spectra/Por Closures

• One-piece autoclavable polypropylene closures

Spectra/Por Closures are lighter than water. They are normally used in tandem with a weighted Closure or Magnetic Weighted Closure. Attach a regular Closure on the top of a dialysis sack and a weighted closure at the bottom of the sack to automatically achieve a vertical floating position. Alternatively, use the glass weighted "marbles" which are dropped into the dialysis sack. This maintains a vertical floating position for efficient dialysis.

When choosing a closure, for best results, select one that is 4 to 10 mm longer than the flat width of the tubing. This will allow the closure to seal the tubing securely without tearing.

• Maintains optimal upright position when used with regular closures.

When a Weighted Closure is used in conjunction with a regular closure, a vertical position of the dialysis tubing is achieved, increasing the rate of dialysis.

Spectra/Por Weighted Closures are polypropylene and contain an acid-washed, fluorocarbon coated stainless steel bar imbedded on the reverse side.

Spectra/Por Magnetic Weighted Closures

• Imbedded Teflon coated magnetic weight

• No additional stir bar required.

When a Magnetic Weighted Closure is used in conjunction with a regular closure, a vertical position of the dialysis tubing is achieved, increasing the rate of dialysis.

A slow spin movement of the dialysis sack when used in conjunction with a magnetic stir plate. No additional stir bar is required in order to keep a continuous motion of the dialysis sack.
